Topic: Financial Literacy Training: Money Management Summit
Many victims of domestic violence return to their violent situation because they do not have the financial management skills needed for independent survival, free from their perpetrator. Capital One and the Family Justice Center will partner with Dress for Success San Antonio and sponsor this FREE, informative training on money management, how to create a spending plan and much more. This free training is designed for victims in the community who need to be informed on methods of financial stability.

February Training: Christina “Tina” Hartmann (misdemeanor prosecutor in county court 7, Family Violence Court).
Presentation Topic: Criminal Law-Misdemeanors
Ms. Hartmann is going to talk about the misdemeanor charge process, court settings, trial settings, pleas & motions to revoke.

JANUARY TRAINING
January Training: Paul Mata (Corporate and Hospital Outreach Specialist)
Presentation Topic: He will discuss the services and the assistance available through the San Antonio Food Bank-Social Services Department. The Social Services Department works with about 400 agencies in the South Central Texas, helping to meet the needs of our community.
