Title:   An Evening at the Theater Featuring "Same Time Next Year"
Description: Please join the Bexar County Family Justice Center Foundation on January 25, 2012 for their 6th annual fundraiser, An Evening at the Theater.
This year, Ms. Vivienne Elborne will direct the play Same Time Next Year written by Bernard Slade. Ms. Elborne has directed and acted in theatre in the United States, United Kingdom, Mexico, Ontario, Russia, and the Ukraine, and has also been inducted into the San Antonio Women's Hall of Fame and received the JC Penney Spirit of the American Woman Award.
One of the most popular romantic comedies of the century, Same Time, Next Year ran four years on Broadway, winning a Tony Award for lead actress Ellen Burstyn, who later recreated her role in the successful motion picture. It remains one of the world's most widely produced plays. The plot follows a love affair between two people, Doris and George, married to others, who rendezvous once a year. Twenty-five years of manners and morals are hilariously and touchingly played out by the lovers.
The star studded cast includes some of our favorite legal minds - Catherine Babbitt, the Honorable Philip Kazen, as well as Our Lady of the Lake Theater and Events Coordinator, Greg Hinojosa.
All proceeds from the event go to support the Bexar County Family Justice Center. For more information please call Erika at (210) 208-6867.

Title:   An Evening at the Theater Featuring "You Say Tomatoes"
Description:  Please join the Bexar County Family Justice Center Foundation on January 26, 2011 for their 5th annual fundraiser, An Evening at the Theater.

This year, Ms. Vivienne Elborne will direct the play You Say Tomatoes written by Bernard Slade.   Ms. Elborne has directed and acted in theatre in the United States, United Kingdom, Mexico, Ontario, Russia, and the Ukraine, and has also been inducted into the San Antonio Women's Hall of Fame and received the JC Penney Spirit of the American Woman Award.

The comedy features Libby Daniels, a brash, sarcastic, edgy New Yorker whose successful career as a Hollywood producer is perilously near its end.  Using her last credit card to travel to England with her assistant, Daisy, she tracks down a reclusive author in a last-ditch attempt to revive her career. Her target, Giles St. James, shares his home and private life in the British countryside with his lifelong friend and manservant, Fred. Under the guise of damsels in distress, Libby and Daisy are taken in by Fred and a displeased but ever-so-proper Giles. Giles sees Libby as the epitome of everything he disdains about America; Libby looks upon Giles as the model of British stuffiness. In the end, Fred and Daisy help Giles and Libby discover themselves and open their hearts to the possibility of love.
